K.A.S.E. The gameplay

Hello everyone ! Today is a good day : you will finally get to understand K.AS.E.’s gameplay !

This article introduces the fundamental mechanics of K.A.S.E.

The whole project focuses on building a gameplay as rich as possible around these mechanics, and players will find multiple uses to each of them.

Below you will find a list and description of these mechanics.

1. Movement The Avatar, Klink, can move around by rolling, jumping, and even gliding in the air thanks to his tiny wings !

2. Interaction - Push Interactions between the avatar and the environment are the base of the gameplay in K.A.S.E..

One of the sounds affecting the environment that Klink can emit lets him push elements around him. With this ability to push things around, Klink can easily destroy obstacles and structures, and place cubes around in convenient ways.

3. Interactions - Split The other sound that Klink can emit is a bit more... surprising: it can multiply cubes in a powerful explosion!

Even if it’s pretty unpredictable, with a little bit of practice and experimentation the player will be able to discover many different uses for this power.
